In addition to great weather and kids out of school, summer is the best time for a yard sale! Packing is the best time to weed out things that you no longer use or need. Set these things aside and put them in a yard sale. Make a lot more money during these warmer months because people are more likely to be out and about when it is not so cold.

This is also the best real estate season. It is a great time to sell or purchase a home. More people buy and sell during this time than any other time. Houses sell for more and they also sell much quicker. If you have a choice then this is the time to sell or buy. This helps to cut out hassles and frustration plus you can make more money if you are selling your home. (more…)


Things You Shouldn’t Forget on Moving Day – Part 2

To avoid all of these problems, have a friend or family member watch over your pets and children. If that is impossible, then find a daycare center or a kennel to temporarily watch your children. If this is not possible, then you can always put them in a certain room with a TV or a chew toy.

Pack Everything

Most people don’t forget to pack up their items and bags, but they often forget to give themselves enough time. This leads to people making a frenzied dash the night before moving day, trying to get everything in order for the moving crew. This is very difficult, and it often leads to problems on moving day.
